最近、新学年のタイミングで「クラスのレベルは上がりますか？」というご質問を多くいただいております😊

GemEggでは、クラスのレベルは年齢ではなく、お子さま一人ひとりの成長や様子に合わせて決めております。

クラスごとに年齢の目安は記載しておりますが、これはあくまで新しくご入会を検討される方への参考としてのガイドラインとなっております。

🎨 レベルアップの目安について

レベルアップは、主に以下のような点を見ながら判断しています：

・レッスンに集中して取り組めているか・制作の中で先生の説明や技法を理解し、実践しようとしているか・一つひとつの工程に丁寧に取り組めているか・自分で考えながら制作を進められているか

これらは「できている・できていない」で判断するものではなく、日々の積み重ねや姿勢を大切に見ています🌿

🌼 レベルアップだけが目的ではありません

GemEggでは、レベルアップだけをゴールとしているわけではありません。

・お友だちとの関係・クラスの雰囲気・制作そのものを楽しめているか

こうした要素もとても大切にしています。

お子さまが今のクラスで安心して楽しく取り組めている場合は、無理に次のレベルへ進む必要はありません😊

✨ 一人ひとりに合わせた成長

GemEggのクラスでは少人数制のため、講師が一人ひとりに合わせてアドバイスを行っています。

そのため、同じクラスの中でもそれぞれのペースでしっかりと成長していくことができます。

・チャレンジの中で成長するタイプ・楽しみながらじっくり伸びるタイプ

どちらも大切にしながら、お子さまに合った環境を選んでいただけたらと思います😊

🌍 英語について

英語に関しても、レベルアップにおいて「完璧であること」が最終的な基準ではありません。

GemEggでは、ネイティブ英語環境の中で、子どもたちが制作を通して英語を「聞く・応える・伝える」ことを日常的に行っています。少人数制のため、一人ひとりにしっかりとした関わり（1対1のやりとり）を持ちながら、自然な形で英語に触れられる環境です。これは、大人数で画一的な進行になりがちな一般的な学校環境ではなかなか得にくい経験でもあります。

講師やクラスメイトとのやりとり、そして英語のワークシートに対して、聞く・話す・丁寧に取り組む姿勢が見られれば、それが成長につながり、次のレベルへ進むための十分な力となっていきます。

Recently, with the start of the new school year, we have received many questions such as,“Will my child move up to the next level?” 😊

At GemEgg, class levels are not determined by age, but by each child’s individual growth, development, and readiness.

While we do list suggested ages for each class, these are simply guidelines for new families who are considering joining and are unsure which class may be appropriate.

🎨 How We Determine Level Advancement

When considering whether a student is ready to move up, we look at factors such as:

• Whether they are able to stay focused throughout the lesson

• Whether they are able to understand and try to apply the teacher’s techniques and instructions

• Whether they approach each step of the process with care and attention

• Whether they are able to think independently and work through their ideas

These are not judged as “right” or “wrong,” but rather based on each child’s ongoing effort, attitude, and development over time 🌿

🌼 Leveling Up Is Not the Only Goal

At GemEgg, moving up to the next level is not the only goal.

We also value:

• Relationships with classmates

• The overall class environment

• Whether the child is enjoying the creative process

If your child feels comfortable, confident, and happy in their current class, there is absolutely no need to rush into the next level 😊

✨ Growth at Each Child’s Own Pace

Our classes are small, allowing teachers to provide individualized guidance to each student.

Even within the same class, each child can grow at their own pace:

• Some children grow through challenge

• Others grow best in a relaxed and enjoyable environment

We believe both approaches are equally important, and we encourage you to choose the environment that best suits your child 😊

🌍 About English

For English as well, perfection is not the ultimate goal when it comes to moving up to the next level.

At GemEgg, we provide a true native English-speaking environment, where students are immersed in the language through constant listening, responding, and presenting their ideas as part of the creative process. With our small class sizes, students receive a high level of one-on-one interaction, allowing them to engage with English in a natural and meaningful way—something that is often difficult to experience in typical school settings with larger classes and standardized materials.

As long as we see students making an effort to listen, speak, and thoughtfully engage with their teachers, classmates, and English worksheets, this will strongly support their growth and readiness to move up to the next level.
