Summer Field Trip - Day 3!

***English Version Below***

Summer Field Trip - Day 3!

For Day 3 of our Summer Field Trip, we took the train together to Odaiba for a day full of LEGO, building, exploring, and some much-needed time by the water!

After arriving at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, we stepped into the LEGO-themed elevator and were immediately greeted by a huge two-ton LEGO tower surrounded by colorful builds and activities.

We also had a stamp rally to complete, so the search for stamps quickly became part of our adventure as we explored the center together.

One of our favorite areas was the miniature LEGO world. We found incredibly detailed recreations of famous Tokyo landmarks, including Shibuya Crossing, Asakusa, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, and Tokyo Dome.

The displays even changed from day to night, completely transforming the little LEGO city as all of the lights came on.

There were lots of interactive surprises too! The students made Godzilla appear in Shibuya, watched LEGO sumo wrestlers battle in the ring, played baseball at Tokyo Dome, and searched for hidden details throughout each display.

A LEGOLAND staff member also gave everyone an "I Spy" challenge, which quickly had the students excitedly running around and using their sharpest eyes to find everything on the list!

Of course, we couldn't spend a day at LEGOLAND without building plenty of LEGO ourselves.

The students had time to create their own builds, explore the play areas, enjoy the rides (more than once!), and even work together to build a giant house using oversized LEGO bricks.

After spending the morning indoors, we headed outside to enjoy lunch by the water.

With clipboards in hand, we completed some English and art activities, wrote about our favorite parts of the day, and then enjoyed some free time playing together by the waterfront on such a beautiful summer afternoon.

Before heading home, we stopped by the nearby shopping mall for some well-earned ice cream—and even spotted some very cute pets along the way!

It was such a fun mix of creativity, observation, English, teamwork, and outdoor play.

After seeing so many incredible LEGO creations, I think we all left feeling inspired to build something of our own one day. ^^
