Summer Field Trip - Day 2!

サマーフィールドトリップ2日目は、大崎駅に朝早く集合し、みんなでキッザニア「English Day」へ行ってきました！

到着すると、まずはキッザニアのキャラクターたちがお出迎え♪

その後は、「今日はどのお仕事をやってみよう？」と、みんなでマップを見ながら作戦会議です＾＾

初めてキッザニアに来た生徒もいて、最初はみんな興味津々！

「あれもやってみたい！」「これも楽しそう！」と話しながら館内を歩き回り、一日では全部のお仕事を体験できないことに気付き、嬉しい悩みが始まりました😂

最初のアクティビティでは、それぞれ興味のあるお仕事へ！

歯医者さんになったり、お花のアレンジメントを体験したり、ANAのフライトアテンダントとして機内サービスに挑戦したりと、それぞれが思い思いの体験を楽しみました。

その後も、スイーツ作りに挑戦したり、靴のデザインを考えたり、気になるお仕事を見つけては「次はこれ！」と次々チャレンジ！

待ち時間も、「次は何をやろう？」とみんなで相談しながら過ごし、一日中ワクワクが止まりませんでした＾＾

お昼になると、みんなお腹もペコペコ！

そこで全員で一緒に参加できるPizza-Laのピザ作りに挑戦しました🍕

小さな制服とヘアネット姿で、一生懸命ピザを作る姿はとても可愛く、みんな本物のピザ職人さんのようでした😂

そして、自分で作った焼きたてのピザをその場で食べられるのも、子どもたちにとって特別な体験になったようです♪

お腹いっぱいになった後は、午後のお仕事へ！

最後までたくさんのアクティビティを楽しみ、気が付けばあっという間に帰る時間になっていました。

この日、私が一番嬉しかったのは、お仕事体験だけではありませんでした。

朝に集合した時は、お互い初対面の子も多く、少し緊張した様子でしたが、一日を通して自然と話しかけ合い、助け合い、少しずつ仲良くなっていきました。

帰る頃には、みんなで並んで歩いたり、おしゃべりを楽しんだり、手をつないだりする姿も見られ、その様子を見ていてとても嬉しい気持ちになりました＾＾

新しいことに挑戦し、いつもとは違う環境で英語を使い、新しいお友達とも出会えた、とても充実した一日になりました。

子どもたちにとって、楽しい思い出とともに、小さな自信や「また新しいことに挑戦してみたい！」という気持ちにつながる一日になっていたら嬉しいです✨

Summer Field Trip - Day 2

Day 2 of our Summer Field Trip started bright and early at Osaki Station as we headed together to KidZania's English Day!

As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by the KidZania characters, and then it was time for everyone to gather around the map and decide which jobs they wanted to try.

For some of the students, it was their very first visit to KidZania, so there was so much to discover!

As they walked around together, they kept saying things like, "I want to try that!" and "That looks fun too!" Before long, everyone realized that fitting all of their favorite jobs into just one day was going to be quite a challenge. 😂

For the first activities, the girls split up to try different experiences.

Some became dentists, some learned flower arranging, while others stepped aboard an ANA aircraft to experience working as flight attendants.

From there, everyone continued exploring. Some made sweet treats, others designed their own shoes, and throughout the day the students excitedly planned what they wanted to try next.

Even while waiting between activities, everyone was chatting away about which job they wanted to do next, and the excitement never seemed to stop. ^^

By lunchtime, everyone was getting hungry, so we chose an activity that we could all enjoy together—making pizzas at Pizza-La! 🍕

Seeing everyone dressed in their little uniforms and hair nets, carefully preparing their own pizzas, was absolutely adorable. They looked surprisingly professional too! 😂

Of course, getting to eat the fresh pizzas they had made themselves afterward made the experience even more special.

After lunch, we headed back out for even more jobs and activities before it was finally time to head home.

One of my favorite parts of the day actually happened outside of all the activities.

When we first met that morning, many of the students didn't know each other very well, and some were a little shy. But throughout the day, they naturally started talking, helping one another, and becoming friends.

By the journey home, everyone was walking together, chatting happily, and even holding hands. It was such a lovely moment to see. ^^

It was such a wonderful day filled with trying new things, using English in a completely different environment, and making new friends along the way.

I hope the children went home not only with wonderful memories, but also with a little more confidence and excitement to try something new in the future. ✨
